The Toronto Maple Leafs have their fair share of issues on the ice in 2023-24, but according to one social media user, those issues may extend to their off-ice conduct as well.
Recently, one user took to social media to share an interesting story about star forward Mitch Marner, who has been accused of being a bigot for his conduct off the ice.
At this point, it's tough to verify whether or not there's any truth to this accusation, but given that it's been viewed almost 23,000 times, it's certainly a story to monitor. Through his NHL career, Marner has been viewed as an exceptional player on the ice and a great role model away from it, but if there's any truth to that, it could do major damage to his reputation.
On the ice this year, Marner has been in career best form, totaling 14 goals and 38 points through the first 33 games of the season as Toronto look to win their first Stanley Cup since way back in 1967.
