While no reasonable person expected a Stanley Cup run from the Buffalo Sabres this season, the team was at least supposed to take a run at making the playoffs. That isn't happening right now, and it may lead to changes sooner rather than later.

Atlantic Division Coach on the Hot Seat as Team Underperforms

Granato signed a two-year extension back in October of 2022 that didn't kick in until this season started. LeBrun believes Sabres GM Kevyn Adams wants to give Granato as much time as possible to get the team out of its current slump, but he simply can't wait forever and will have to take action if the losses continue.
