PK Subban Makes a Clear Statement on the Michigan Goal: Zegras and Bedard are Lucky He's No Longer in the League
PK Subban was a fan-favourite for most of his NHL career, when he was a perennial Norris-candidate physical offensive defenseman.
As his career went on, he developed a more negative reputation for his dirty play, using slewfoots often. He opted to retire at only 33, when teams didn't come offering the types of deals he wanted, but his high-flying personality led him right into a career in the media.
He is now an analyst and commentator, as well as a vocal social media personality, and he is never afraid to share his thoughts. With the Michigan goal on everybody's minds right now, with Trevor Zegras and Connor Bedard both having scored one in the same night, Subban has shared his thoughts -- and they may not be what you'd expect.

They certainly take a lot of skill to score, and it's impossible not to applaud them for the creativity and pure hockey power to create chances like this. However, questions do emerge if the Michigan goal is good for the game, as it is one of the most difficult shots to avoid as a goaltender. It's safe to say, while Subban appreciates the skill, he wouldn't be a fan if he were on the opposing team.
