In breaking news, David Perron is facing a potentially massive suspension for an intentional play during the Red Wings-Senators game last night.
Perron Facing Potential 5 Game Suspension or More For Crosscheck
The NHL Player Safety Department announced today that David Perron would be having a hearing for his crosscheck last night on Senator Artem Zub. Perron was issued a match penalty during the game for the crosscheck.
Detroit's David Perron has been offered an in-person hearing for cross-checking Ottawa's Artem Zub. Date and time TBD.
Some are saying that Perron could be facing up to 5 games or more for the crosscheck. The incident came after the unfortunate play to Dylan Larkin that left him injured on the ice.
