The San Jose Sharks will be without one of their players for at least the next two games.

Sharks Lose Sturm For The Next Two Games

The Sharks announced Friday that forward Nico Strum will be taking a leave of absence to deal with a personal matter.

Nico Sturm will be taking a leave of absence from the team to attend to a personal family matter and will miss the two upcoming games on the road on Nov. 20 at Vancouver and Nov. 22 at Seattle. Out of respect to Nico's privacy, the organization will not have any further comment.

Sturm has two assists in 17 games this season with the Sharks, last season he was a solid depth piece for the team tallying 14 goals and 26 points in 74 games played.

In 223 games the German forward has 67 points as a member of the Sharks, Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild.

We wish all the best to the Sturm family.
