There's no doubt players with the Minnesota Wild were frustrated last night as their team lost 8-3 to the Dallas Stars. That frustration boiled over with a hit that's likely to lead to a suspension.

Duhaime Likely Facing Suspension after Awful Hit from Behind

Late in the second period of the Wild-Stars game, Brandon Duhaime drilled Thomas Harley with a hit from behind that cause Harley to go into the boards face-first. He's likely still try to get the taste of the dasher out of his mouth. Duhaime would get a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct.

Harley did not return, and Stars coach Peter DeBoer had no additional information after the game had ended.

DeBoer did not have an update on Thomas Harley postgame.

Harley did not return after getting slammed into the boards late in the second period, resulting in a major penalty and game misconduct.

Dirty Hit by Wild's Duhaime Will Likely Earn Him a Suspension

The game misconduct triggers an automatic review by the NHL's Department of Player Safety, and I'd be shocked if there isn't some kind of supplemental discipline. The Wild's next two games take place in Sweden over the weekend as part of the NHL's Global Series. If Duhaime is suspended, he will miss the trip.
