Things aren't going anywhere near how fans had hoped, and they're starting to turn on the players and staff. However, one player isn't happy about it.

Boobirds

The boobirds were out in full force, early and often, for the Ottawa Senators last night as the team lost 6-4 to the Tampa Bay Lightning to drop to 4-6-0. Fans are restless, and they let the team know it. However, Sens captain Brady Tkachuk let it be know after the game that he didn't appreciate it.
"To be honest, that was very frustrating tonight."

"It's frustrating, the negativity from the outside, the constant booing and the bulls--t, kind of, from the crowd tonight. I understand that they're passionate fan base and I understand that they love it, but when you face adversity you don't turn your back on the guys out there. We're playing hard, I know it's frustrating
right now. It's not like we're giving up out there, we're fighting right to the very end."

Turning on the Coach

Tkachuk did his part to support the team last night, scoring two goals and adding an assist for Ottawa. Unfortunately, not much support is coming from elsewhere, and fans are starting to turn on the coach.

While new owner Michael Andlauer has said Smith and his coaching staff would remain in place for now, something will have to give eventually if the losses keep coming.
