Kirby Dach left the last Canadiens game with an injury and now the worst has been confirmed regarding his health.

The Worst Is Confirmed For Dach

Insider Eric Engles has just confirmed how bad Kirby Dach's injury is and it is the worst-case scenario for Montreal fans.

Initial word I'm receiving on Canadiens' Kirby Dach is he has a torn ACL+torn MCL in his knee. There are more tests being done, and we'll wait for Habs to officially confirm once they're received all the info, but this puts Dach's season at risk if it ends up being the case.

ACL and MCL injuries typically take a long time to heal, typically 6-12 months depending on the grade of the injury, so this puts Dach's season at risk only two games in.

Dach was originally the 3rd overall pick of the Chicago Blackhawks and was injured against them when Montreal faced off against them two nights ago.

He is seen as an integral part of Montreal's rebuild so losing him will put them in contention for the first overall pick.
