Habs Fans Welcome Bedard for First NHL Game in Canada.

Yesterday, Connor Bedard played his first NHL game on Canadian soil as the Chicago Blackhawks visited the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Center.

The Canadiens' defensive unit did a good job, limiting his production to a single assist. However, he did a lot of great things on the ice, showing glimpse of his amazing natural talent.

Also, Habs' fans didn't make it easy on him. Every time the puck touched his stick, they booed him.

Following the 3-2 loss, Bedard was asked to comment on how he was welcomed in Montreal by the fans. Let's just say that he wasn't too intimidated...

"Connor Bedard on being booed: 'No, I loved it. It was great. I didn't really think about it before the game, but I thought it was awesome.'

Bedard wasn't booed at his first two games in Pittsburgh and Boston, but the Montreal crowd is always a tough one. It's a great thing that he likes it, because he'll need to get used to it. Montreal isn't the only hard place to play in the NHL.
