Today it has been announced that Erne has earned his contract from Edmonton.

Adam Erne to a one-year, two-way contract with an AAV of $775,000 at the NHL level.

Erne spent last season with the Red Wings scoring 18 points in 61 games.
Throughout his career, Erne has played 355 career games spent between stints with Tampa and Detroit.
Now he will focus on helping the Oilers win a Stanley Cup as a defensive specialist who can chip in offensively occasionally.
