RUMOUR: Patrick Kane's Preferred Destination is Now Known

We may now know where Patrick Kane wants to play for next season.

Recently, a rumor has garnered much attention linking Patrick Kane to the Buffalo Sabres.

The Buffalo Sabres are in the perfect position to bring on somebody like Kane. First off, Kane was born in Buffalo and lived there for the first portion of his life.

Additionally, the Sabres have $6 million in cap space which would be plenty to sign Kane who would likely be willing to take a hometown discount.

Kane is coming off of a 57-point year plagued with injuries and will be missing out on the first portion of the season. He could bring a veteran presence and passion to the young Sabres locker room and show them what it takes to win.

If the Sabres do sign Kane, he will likely play on their 2nd line alongside youngster Dylan Cozens.
