Jason Spezza left the Toronto Maple Leafs right when Kyle Dubas was fired.

Now, it looks like he found a new job.

Spezza Back in the NHL

He's joining Dubas in Pittsburgh, where he'll work as Assistan General Manager.

"The Penguins have named Jason Spezza as Assistant General Manager."

"Jason Spezza has followed Kyle Dubas to Pittsburgh, as Assistant General Manager.

Dubas is yet to name a General Manager after being named President of Hockey Ops.

Kyle Dubas on Jason Spezza: "After a decorated playing career, Jason fully immersed himself on the management side of the game learning all facets of hockey operations this past season while with Toronto. He showed tremendous work ethic, curiosity, and ability to build relationships throughout all departments at the team facility. His move from the roster to the front office helped make the hockey ops, coaching staff, and playing roster a more cohesive and collaborative unit."
