The Boston Bruins' salary cap situation is a real brain teaser. At the moment, they have 28 players signed in the organization for next season, with only $4,937,500 available.

They also have to deal with a lot of important free agents. Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Dmitry Orlov could all decide to walk away.

Don Sweeney will have to make some trades to free up some money. According to a reporter for the Bruins, Linus Ullmark probably won't stay with the team.

The Bruins Forced to Trade Ullmark?

Indeed, Joe Haggerty reported:

"I'd be surprised at this point, given their salary cap situation if Ullmark is back with the team."

Ullmark had an exceptional record-breaking season this year, even if it ended on a bad note at the hands of the Florida Panthers. If he continues to be that good, he'll ask for a huge contract when his current one ends in two years.

Do you think the Bruins will trade Ullmark?

As seen on Blade of Steel - Boston's cap situation could force them to move Vezina Trophy finalist
