Buffalo Sabres Top Prospect Scores a Goal From an Impossible Angle at the World Championship

The Buffalo Sabres are built to be the most exciting team in the league in just a few years. One of their top prospects is definitely looking good!

John-Jason Peterka came out running in the NHL this season after a brilliant AHL campaign in 2021-22.

The winger has a blistering shot and strong playmaking ability, and he could very well grow into an exciting middle-sixer for the Sabres as they become more competitive.

As a part of team Germany at the World Championship, he is truly shining, however.

In what will be a massive blowout win for Germany, Peterka scored this incredible goal:

Peterka shot this almost perpendicular to the post. He may not get these types of opportunity on NHL ice, but it is great to see such a young player showing this type of elite skill.

Add this to some of the best young players in the league, and the Sabres are going to be truly terrifying.
