Some comments are probably better left unsaid when you're a public figure - especially when it concerns your sex life. Unfortunately for Paulina Gretzky (daughter of The Great One), she's found herself on the receiving end of this exact type of awkward comment thanks to her pro golfer husband Dustin Johnson.
Johnson, who's about to compete in the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY, gave a rather, um *suggestive* answer when asked during a press conference why he'd suffered a lower back injury that caused him to withdraw early from February's Saudi International tournament.
Johnson: «I just pulled a muscle. Lower back.»
Interviewer: «Swinging a club, or lifting up a kid?» Johnson: «*chuckles* Yeah, lifting up a kid. A bigger kid.»
Though the 38-year-old LIV golfer's remarks elicited huge laughs during the presser (and he visibly grinned while making them), it's unclear as to how Paulina - the first-born child of Wayne Gretzky and wife Janet - feels about the not-so-subtle overshare about their habits in the bedroom, as the remarks caused her to start trending on Twitter.
On to the PGA Tour
Nonetheless, Johnson will be chasing his third major PGA Championship victory this weekend, barring any further sexually-induced injuries. In the meantime, he's been giving Paulina other types of «late night lessons»: golf-related ones, that is.
