Joonas Korpisalo, acquired at the last trade deadline, is a free agent as soon as the market opens. He played in all six playoff games for the Kings against the Edmonton Oilers in the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. That leaves LA with Cal Peterson and Phoenix Copley under contract, neither of which has proven to be a number one netminder, let alone a star.
Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets becomes a free agent after the 2023-24 season, and many are predicting a trade sometime before the year is up in order to avoid losing him for nothing. Perhaps one of the Boston Bruins goaltenders,
Linus Ullmark or Jeremy Swayman, could be a target as well.
