The Panthers staged a thrilling comeback from a 3-1 series deficit to the Bruins, ultimately forcing a game seven for Sunday; however, game six didn't go down without it's fair share of controversy.

Starting the second period down 2-1, Boston charged back into the game with David Pastrnak's between-the-legs goal in the second. Moments later, when it appeared as though the Bruins took a 3-2 lead, the celebration was short-lived due to an iffy play.

Did the Refs Get It Right?

Panthers' head coach Paul Maurice didn't hesitate to challenge the play, citing a "missed stoppage" due to a supposed hand pass by Jake DeBrusk. See the play in question here:
And from a different perspective here:
Taking a closer look, it's clear the puck does come into contact with DeBrusk's glove, albeit unintentionally, before being picked up by Patrice Bergeron. While this does qualify as a hand pass by the rules, it occurred well before the goal and had no direct impact on the play's outcome.
It's very similar to the controversial ''high-stick'' that led directly to an LA Kings overtime winner against the Edmonton Oilers earlier in the playoffs. That time, however, the goal stood due to inconclusive evidence.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this debated call.
