David Jiricek, the 6th overall pick in the most recent draft and star player for Czechia at the World Juniors, will be taking part in his team's opening game of the tournament against Canada on Boxing Day. It was looking like it may not happen after Jiricek landed in Halifax from Cleveland on Christmas Day after several delays only to discover his equipment was missing. Jiricek's agent, Allen Walsh, called Air Canada "embarrassment of a company" after his client's equipment was showing a location of Toronto, but the airline said there was nothing that could be done. Walsh is taking a much softer tone now.

"I want to thank Air Canada for going above and beyond in locating the missing bags and gear and delivering to Halifax," said Walsh. "My sympathies to those impacted by the storm and wishing everyone a peaceful, healthy and safe New Year."

Walsh took some backlash after his initial tweets as thousands of people are either stranded at airports or trying to find their luggage after Holiday plans were ruined by weather across the country. Walsh took more backlash after his latest, softer, tweet with some wondering why his case seemed to carry more importance than their own.

Walsh is a very outspoken person who represents names like Marc-Andre Fleury, Max Pacioretty, Johnathan Huberdeau, and several others.
