The Calgary Flames played host to the Arizona Coyotes on Monday night, which meant the return of defenseman Juuso Valimaki.

The 24-year-old, who was drafted in the first round (16th overall) of the 2017 draft by the Flames, was claimed on waivers by the Coyotes prior to the start of the 2022-23 campaign. Monday night marked his first time returning to the Saddledome as a member of the opposition, which earned him a brief tribute on the jumbotron part way through the first period. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to have a lot of thought put into it.
One would think that when making the graphic, it would be double and triple checked for spelling, but that doesn't appear to be the case here. Nevertheless, it was a classy gesture by the Flames to recognize him, even though he failed to make the impact the organization had originally hoped.
