Thatcher Demko left Vancouver's match versus the Florida Panthers on Thursday night, needing to be helped off the ice. Per Elliotte Friedman, Demko's absence will last at least six weeks, and his injury is classified as a lower-body injury.

The Canucks' record currently sits at 9-12-3, and they are likely not going to rise much further up the Western Conference standings. So, any injuries which befall the Canucks only push them deeper and deeper into the Connor Bedard sweepstakes.
Not to make light of anyone's injury, but the Canucks have no reason to rush anyone back into their lineup.
