The 2023 World Juniors in Halifax and Moncton is set to get underway in exactly one month and Canada will open their selection camp on December 9th.

As Hockey Canada is preparing their roster for the tournament, one name that they are reportedly going to get is Arizona Coyotes rookie Dylan Guenther, according to Sportsnet's Jeff Marek.

"We're wondering who's going and it sounds like Dylan Guenther from the Arizona Coyotes, he'll be gone to the World Junior Hockey Championships." Marek said.

In his first season with the Coyotes, Guenther has nine points (three goals, six assists), six penalty minutes and is a minus-seven in 17 games.

Canada will open up their gold medal defence on Boxing Day against Czechia at 6 p.m. ET/7 p.m. Halifax time.
