Canadiens rookie Arber Xhekaj drops the mitts at end of second period
Just after the puck was dropped for the final time in the second period, Montreal Canadiens rookie defenceman Arber Xhekaj dropped the gloves with Columbus Blue Jackets forward Mathieu Olivier in a spirited bout.
Both Xhekaj and Olivier got a few good shots in, before the Canadiens defenceman fell to the ice. As Xhekaj was falling to the ice, Olivier threw a late punch.
The team's headed to the dressing room tied up at 2-2 after Josh Anderson brought things level with less than three seconds left in the middle frame.
