Anaheim Ducks' goaltender John Gibson showed a spicy side during his team's game against the Detroit Red Wings. Gibson went behind his own net to play the puck and gave a little bit extra to Wings' forward Adam Erne. Things soon escalated as Erne gave Gibson a tap back:

Gibson was called for a double minor - 2 minutes for elbowing then 2 minutes for roughing. Erne was called 2 minutes for slashing. Gibson has always been a fiery goaltender, never shying away from sticking up for himself.

Unfortunately for Gibson and his team, the Ducks went on to lose the game 5-1. They move to 1-4-1 on the season.
