Edmonton Oilers' defenseman Darnell Nurse was fined $5,000 -- the maximum allowable under the collective bargaining agreement -- for interference against Vancouver's Kyle Burroughs:
Nurse has become quite familiar with the NHL's Department of Player Safety over his young career, having now faced several fines and a suspension or two.
If Burroughs would have suffered an injury on the play, this easily could have been more for Nurse, without whom the Oilers do not want to play.
