This tournament will start fresh, with results from the cancelled December tournament being wiped. Each nation was able to bring their same roster, if they wished, with the IIHF keeping age eligibility the same as it was in December. That meant if a player turned 20 after the tournament was over, they were allowed to come back and participate in this event.
While it doesn't feel like a normal World Junior Championship, fans are in for an exciting tournament with several top prospects, and even some projected top-ten picks next year, all in action.
Let's take a look at one player on each roster you should keep an eye on throughout the tournament.
