Just two seasons after being dealt by the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Patrik Laine and Jack Roslovic, Pierre-Luc Dubois could once again be on the move in the near future.

According to Elliotte Friedman, Dubois has told the Winnipeg Jets that he plans to test free agency in 2024. Though he is still Jets property right now as a restricted free agent, this means that he won't be accepting of a long-term deal, and may force general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff to trade him in the near future.

During his final days with the Blue Jackets, there were some questions surrounding Dubois' character, and this notion certainly won't help clear up those rumors. That said, if the Jets do decide to move him in a trade, they should still get quite the haul for the young forward, who registered 28 goals and 60 points in 81 games this season.
