Anna Kane Tracks Down Evander Amidst Custody Battle

The situation between Evander & Anna Kane is well documented. Long custody battles, lawsuits, series accusations & more have been in the public sphere for what seems like an eternity now. However, about six months ago Evander was awarded full custody of their daughter, Kensington. This was less than a year after his estranged wife accused him of being an absentee father among other things.

Recently Anna Kane is on a mission to gain custody of their daughter once more, and isn't willing to let a little thing like international borders or a judge'e verdict get in the way. According to her own Instagram posts, she is currently in Alberta in an attempt to visit her child and, assumptively, appeal the custody decision.

This ordeal is bound to get worse before it gets better, as Anna Kane seems intent on staying near her & Evander's daughter. And with Evander Kane's contract situation far from certain, it's possible another move could happen.

One would assume that this debacle weighs heavily on Evander's mind & focus. Whether or not it's enough to distract him from his job is unclear. However, the Oilers find themselves trailing the Avalanche 2-0 in their Western Conference Final series headed back to Edmonton. The Kane's & their woes are both ongoing sagas that are far from over, unfortunately.
