In the 2nd period of Game 6 between the Edmonton Oilers and LA Kings, Connor McDavid was hit in the neutral zone by rookie Arthur Kaliyev.

The puck was nowhere in sight, which should make this a slam dunk interference call. There was no call on the play. McDavid was able to find his bearings and return to the game, thank goodness.

In just two days, there have been no-calls or missed calls on four of the league's biggest stars: Sidney Crosby (hit by Jacob Trouba), Auston Matthews (Alex Killorn holding his jersey), Sebastian Aho (shoulder to shoulder hit from Charlie McAvoy), and now this on McDavid.

In a playoffs filled with penalties, powerplays, fines, and suspensions, the league might want to "call the standard" on some of these plays involving all-star caliber players. Losing elite, face-of-the-league type players is not good for anyone.
