When you think of Swedish hockey, the famous 'Tre Kronor' logo as well as the yellow and blue stand out as one of the most classic looking jerseys in international hockey. On Friday, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association unveiled throwback jerseys to mark their 100th anniversary.

The throwback features the 'Tre Kronor' logo worn in the center of the jerseys from 1964 to 1980. It also has a thick blue collar with blue laces. Two wide blue strips are also shown on each sleeve and in each strip has the names of members of the Swedish Ice Hockey Hall of Fame.

Sweden is set to wear these uniforms for the first time on Thursday, May 5th in an exhibition game against Czechia. It's unclear if they will be worn during the upcoming World Championship starting on May 13th, the World Juniors in August or Women's World Championship, also in August.

A replica of the throwback uniform can be bought through Sweden's team store for 799 Swedish Krona, which works out to just under $105 Canadian dollars.
