Over the next few weeks, European free agents will be signing with NHL clubs with the most notable name, Andrei Kuzmenko, expected to begin interviews with teams in the coming days.

Another name to keep and eye on is forward Anton Bengtsson, who has spent the last ten seasons in the Swedish Hockey League.

The 28-year-old had a career year for Rogle BK, tallying 39 points (20 goals, nineteen assists), ten penalty minutes, and was a plus-20. Bengtsson went on to put up six points (five goals, one assist) in thirteen playoff games.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, NHL teams are showing interest in the Karlstad (Sweden) native.

"29. Another European with a decision to make is Rogle's Anton Bengtsson. He's a little older (29 in two weeks) and scored 20 goals this season in Sweden. He's got NHL interest in a bottom-six role." Friedman said in his 32 Thoughts article.
