Pete Deboer Throws Shade At Robin Lehner During Press Conference
The drama between Robin Lehner & the Vegas Golden Knights was believed to conclude when the team announced season-ending surgery for the Swedish netminder.
However, in today's press conference Pete Deboer was asked about Lehner's injury and gave a vague & dismissive answer:
The quote in question (:40 mark), 'The announcement speaks for itself. I'm concerned about the guys that are here, battling with us here tonight.'
Insinuating that Lehner is not battling.
However, it is suspected that Lehner's injury has bothered him for some time & has simply passed the point of rehab. So do Deboer's comments reflect the thoughts of the team/management group?
One has to think Lehner has played his last hockey in Vegas, so where do the Golden Knights go from here?
