Micah Parsons is clearly a hell of a football player. The Dallas Cowboys member was named Rookie Defensive Player of the Year in his first season in the league and appears to be well on his way to a lengthy, successful career. As for hockey, well it seems Parsons is still learning the rules.

While he plays for Dallas, Parsons is a product of Pennsylvania. He made a name for himself playing football at Harrisburg High School and Penn State University before being drafted to the NFL. To celebrate the hometown hero, Parsons was invited to a Hershey Bears hockey game over the weekend where he was tasked with conducting a ceremonial faceoff. Parsons' name was announced, he walked along the carpet to centre ice for the faceoff, and simply threw the puck down before the players even had a chance to lineup. When people started laughing, Parsons just shrugged his shoulders as if to say "What I do?"

As funny as this is, it would be nice to see officials drop the puck this quickly during the actual game, rather than taking forever to get it done.
