The Regina Pats finished their 2021-22 season on Sunday afternoon facing off against the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Coming into Sunday's contest, 16-year-old Connor Bedard, who took the hockey world by storm at the World Juniors, had 49 goals and 95 points, but that quickly changed.

Bedard finished the game with five points (two goals, three assists) to become the youngest player in Western Hockey League history to score 50 goals in a single season. He added an empty netter to grab his 51st of the season as well.

While Bedard's season is over, the Vancouver native may be donning the red and white once again in a matter of months. With the 2022 World Juniors being rescheduled from December due to a COVID-19 outbreak, Bedard will have an opportunity to represent Canada once again this August, in Edmonton.
