Vegas' AHL Affiliate Signs Brendan Brisson, Son of Agent Pat Brisson, To Tryout Agreement
Pat Brisson is highly regarded in the hockey community. His agency represents some of the highest profile NHL players; players like Sidney Crosby, John Tavares, Patrick Kane, and his own flesh & blood, Brendan Brisson.
Today the Henderson Silver Knights announced Brendan has signed a tryout agreement with the team:

Brendan was a member of the loaded Michigan Wolverine unit featuring 7 first-round picks. He scored 42 points in 38 games for the Wolverines this season.
No doubt Pat's fingerprints are on this contract. Interestingly, this is not an entry-level contract, which was likely by design for reasons unknown.
The Silver Knights currently occupy the final playoff spot in the AHL's Pacific Division, so Brisson will jump right into competitive hockey.
The Vegas Golden Knights do not have much of a prospect pool due to management mortgaging virtually the entirety of their pipeline to win now, so Brisson's signing is a significant development for the NHL's second-youngest club.
