The St. Louis Blues were in Edmonton to take on the Oilers on Friday night, which also happened to be April Fool's Day. Prospect Jake Neighbours, who started the season in St. Louis, currently plays in the Western Hockey League for the Edmonton Oil Kings. Neighbours decided to go to the game and pretend he was a fan as an April Fool's Joke.

Neighbours was standing by the bench wearing his Blues jersey and holding a sign that said "GO BLUES. Brayden you are my favourite player! Can I have a stick?".

Brayden Schenn was the first player to notice Neighbours standing behind the bench. He signed a stick for him that said, "Keep watching your diet".

Defenceman Niko Mikkola and goaltender Ville Husso also got in on the fun, both giving Neighbours a puck.
