Jesperi Kotkaniemi Likely to Miss Significant Time

Following a nasty hit by Washington's Lars Eller, Carolina Hurricanes' F Jesperi Kotkaniemi is definitely going to miss time, according to team reporter Sara Civian. Here is the hit in question:

The hit drew controversy due to a couple of factors. 1: score was 6-1 Carolina. 2: there was 1.8 seconds on the clock. So, all in all Eller probably could have let Kotkaniemi go here. But he didn't, & we don't know when KK will be back. RBA did have this to say though:
