Even though the trade deadline passed one week ago, deals can still take place between teams, but any players involved are not eligible to play in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The St. Louis Blues announced on Monday afternoon that they've acquired defenceman Brady Lyle from the Boston Bruins in exchange for future considerations. Lyle will report to the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Lyle, a native of North Bay (Ontario), signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Boston Bruins back in April of 2021. In 48 games with Boston's AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins, the 22-year-old has nine points (two goals, seven assists), ten penalty minutes, and is a minus-seven.
