The 2021-22 season has been one to forget for the Arizona Coyotes. From their poor on-ice play, proven by their 20-40-5 record, to their uncertain future in the desert, things aren't going great for this organization right now.

One of the many reasons for the Coyotes struggles this season has been their abysmal power play. They have scored just 22 times on the man advantage all season long for a conversion rate of just 13.5 per cent. Their 22 goals not only rank dead last amongst all teams, but is nearly trailing a few individual players.

As TSN's Jason Gregor pointed out on Monday morning, Leon Draisaitl of the Edmonton Oilers scored his 20th power play goal of the season on Saturday night, meaning he has just two less on the man advantage than the entire Coyotes roster. Then there is Chris Kreider of the New York Rangers, who has scored 22 goals himself on the power play. By season's end, both of these players could end up with more power play tallies than the Coyotes, proving just how much they are struggling at the moment.
