The services of two European free agents have drawn interest from more than a couple NHL clubs seeking to add before the playoffs.

Former Columbus draft pick & Vegas Golden Knight netminder Oscar Dansk plays for Moscow Spartak of the KHL, and for one reason or another he's eyeing a return to North America. It's reasonably within the realm of possibility that Swedish goaltender wants to enjoy the Western life as opposed to living in Moscow in 2022. However, the player showed signs of promise in a short sample size with VGK and could be of use to a club in search of goaltending depth.

In addition to Dansk, Swedish forward Frederik Olofsson of Oskarshamn in the Swedish Hockey League has drawn interest since his squad was eliminated from playoff contention. The forward produced at a decent clip scoring 15g-26a-41p in 48 games, which is impressive given that it's a relatively low-scoring league. Olofsson was originally a 2014 4th round draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks and is now a free agent. Another worthy addition for a team looking to add extra scoring going into the playoff grind.
