After the Minnesota Wild made one of the most surprising trades at the deadline acquiring Marc-Andre Fleury, general manager Bill Guerin made sure to make his new goalie feel as special as he should.

According to The Athletic's Michael Russo, Bill Guerin flew to Chicago with Craig Leipold to pick up the newly acquired goaltender personally. The team does not play on Tuesday, so this will give Fleury the time to go back to Chicago to finish the rest of his packing.

Guerin and Fleury have ties back to their days in Pittsburgh, and hopefully for Wild fans, they can recreate some of that magic this season and into the playoffs. The team currently sits third in the Central Division with 76 points (36-20-4) in 60 games.
