Russian Star Nikolai Kovalenko to Join the Colorado Avalanche

In 2018, the Colorado Avalanche drafted Nikolai Kovalenko with the 171st pick. Now, almost six years later, Kovalenko will finally join his NHL team.
Top Prospect Nikolai Kovalenko to Join the Colorado Avalanche Soon
Kovalenko is set to join the Avs soon. His season in the KHL ended and he has no more contractual obligations to the league.
This year, in 42 games with the Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo, the 24-year-old forward scored 35 points, including 11 goals.
Already under contract, Kovalenko should be a part of the lineup for the end of the season and the playoffs.
