It has been an ugly season for the Montreal Canadiens, who through 45 games own an 8-30-7 record. It is a truly shocking turn of events for a team who advanced to the Stanley Cup Final less than a year ago.

The rough season continued on Tuesday, as the Canadiens were crushed 7-1 against another struggling team, the New Jersey Devils. In a season that has had plenty of them, this may be the lowest point yet for the Habs, and Josh Anderson made it clear post game he is not happy about it.

«I mean we got embarrassed out there tonight. We had a couple of mistakes that cost us goals,» Anderson said. «You'd think after the break that you'd be refreshed and ready to go I feel embarrassed, to be honest with you. We better be ready to go next game.»

That next game won't be an easy task, as it comes against Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. This truly has been a season to forget for the Canadiens, and the worst part of it...it's only half over.
