The St. Louis Blues announced on Tuesday morning that they've signed defenceman Robert Bortuzzo and forward Logan Brown to contract extensions.

Bortuzzo's is for two-years and worth $1.9 million ($950,000 AAV) and Brown's is for one-year and worth $750,000. Bortuzzo was set to become an unrestricted free agent in July, while Brown was going to become a restricted free agent at the conclusion of the season.

Brown, 23, was acquired by the Blues from the Ottawa Senators in September 2021. In 17 games this season, Brown has six points (three goals, three assists), four penalty minutes and is a minus-two.

Bortuzzo, a native of Thunder Bay, Ontario, has been with the Blues since March 2015 when he was traded from the Pittsburgh Penguins. He appeared in 17 games during the 2019 playoffs, helping St. Louis win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. In 37 games this season, Bortuzzo has three points (one goal, two assists), twenty-four penalty minutes and is a plus-four.
