Typically on All-Star weekend, we find out about locations for next year's special events such as outdoor games, draft weekend, etc. So far, the 2023 NHL All-Star weekend venue has been determined, it will be hosted by the Florida Panthers according to the Miami Herald.

Now it appears that the NHL will be returning to one of, if not the most famous ballpark in baseball, Fenway Park.

According to Mike Grinnell, who is the producer for Spittin' Chiclets, the 2023 NHL Winter Classic will see the Boston Bruins take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at Fenway Park.

"Hearing the Winter Classic could be headed back to Fenway next season and would feature the Bruins & Penguins," Grinnell said in a tweet.

If this report turns out to be true, this will be the second time Fenway Park has hosted the Winter Classic. The third edition of the NHL's outdoor event was played there between the Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers.

The 2023 Winter Classic would be the Bruins' fourth time in the event following 2010, 2016 (hosted at Gillette Stadium) and 2019. Meanwhile, it would be Pittsburgh's third time, they played in the inaugural Winter Classic in Buffalo in 2008 and then hosted the 2011 game.
