The Chicago Blackhawks sit seventh in the Central Division with a record of 15-18-6 through 39 games this season and as the trade deadline slowly approaches, it's seeming more likely that they will become sellers.

Interim General Manager Kyle Davidson will look to recoup a first-round pick at the deadline after the team traded theirs away last summer for Seth Jones. A condition on that pick sent to the Blue Jackets is that if it becomes first or second overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Chicago will be given the pick back, while Columbus receives their 2023 first round pick.

Looking at Chicago's roster, they have a number of UFA's that will garner attention, including Calvin de Haan, Erik Gustafsson, and potentially Marc-Andre Fleury if he waives his no-trade clause.

But there are bigger names on Chicago's roster that have become available according to Frank Seravalli of The Fourth Period.

While on Sportsnet 650 radio, Seravalli said that he believes Alex DeBrincat, Brandon Hagel, and Dominik Kubalik are potentially available for trade leading up to March 21st's trade deadline.

"My sense is that the Chicago Blackhawks know they need to shake things up there," Seravalli said on "Halford & Brough in the Morning" on Thursday.

He added that the only untouchables on Chicago's roster are captain Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Seth Jones.

It will be interesting to see what Kyle Davidson does leading up to March 21st. It's probably a forgone conclusion that some of the pending UFA's will be moved, but if he does indeed try to trade away Alex DeBrincat, the Blackhawks will get a ton in return.
