According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Boston Bruins have placed centerman Karson Kuhlman on waivers for the purpose of being assigned to the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins.

Kuhlman, 26, was signed by the Boston Bruins as a free agent out of college in April 2018. He has since gone on to play in 75 games across parts of four seasons in the National Hockey League.

In October 2020, the Bruins signed Kuhlman to a two-year contract worth $1.45 million ($725k AAV) and he'll become a restricted free agent in July.

The Esko, Minnesota native has appeared in nineteen games this season for Boston, tallying two points (one goal, one assist), with no penalty minutes and has an even-rating.

We should know shortly after 2pm Eastern time on Monday if Kuhlman was claimed by another team or if he cleared, meaning he'll be assigned to Providence (AHL).
