The Vegas Golden Knights will be without one of their top scorer for the foreseeable future. They announced via their Twitter account that forward Max Pacioretty will be out indefinitely after undergoing wrist surgery on Thursday.

"Update: Max Pacioretty had successful wrist surgery today. He will be out of the lineup indefinitely. #VegasBorn," they said.

Pacioretty, 33, was a game time decision for Vegas' last game, on Tuesday in Los Angeles due to an undisclosed injury. He took the warm-up and played in that game, recording no points and had 17:24 of ice time.

In sixteen games this season for the Golden Knights, the New Canaan, Connecticut native has 21 points (twelve goals, nine assists), eleven penalty minutes, and is a plus-eight.

The Pacioretty-less Golden Knights will be back in action on Friday afternoon when they host the Anaheim Ducks.
