The Montreal Canadiens are scheduled to take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Florida Tuesday night, but it looks like the team will be without some regulars if the game goes ahead.

"Goaltender Jake Allen and defensemen Ben Chiarot, Joel Edmundson, Jeff Petry and Chris Wideman were placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list," said a release from the team Monday. "Goalie coach Eric Raymond has also been placed on the protocol. They're all being monitored closely by team medical staff and are following guidelines and protocols set by the NHL.

Those players join Laurent Dauphin, Mike Hoffman, Artturi Lehkonen and Tyler Toffoli, who were all placed on the list earlier.

Meanwhile, goaltender Cayden Primeau and defenseman Corey Schueneman have been recalled from the AHL to the main squad. Brandon Baddock, Gianni Fairbrother, Cam Hillis and Michael McNiven have been placed on the team's taxi squad and will travel with the team to Florida.

According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, Tuesday's game is still scheduled to go ahead at this moment. That could change, though.
