On Sunday morning, TVA Sports reporter Renaud Lavoie shared an update on Montreal Canadiens star netminder Carey Price. Lavoie said that Price is not expected to see any game action in the month of December, but should be back on the ice, in full equipment, in the coming days.

"Don't expect Carey Price to be back in @CanadiensMTL lineup in December. That being said, he should resume training with his goalie equipment on, in the next few days," Lavoie said in a tweet.

Price, 34, has been out of the Canadiens lineup for the entire season after entering the NHL's Player Assistance Program for substance abuse, and since he's returned from the program, he's been rehabbing his knee that required surgery in the off-season.

It's still unclear as to when specifically Price will be back between the pipes for the Habs. If he's able to get to the point where he'll be able to play games in January, there's a good chance that Canada's General Manager Doug Armstrong will name Price to the 2022 Olympic roster.
