After spending parts of the last four seasons with Dallas, including a Stanley Cup Final appearance in 2020, veteran netminder Anton Khudobin has been placed on the trade block according to Sportsnet's Jeff Marek.

"Dallas Stars, now they have their goaltending tandem of Jake Oettinger and Braden Holtby, they're fantastic. Dallas has won six in a row, one of the best teams in the NHL. They have started to test the market and see what they can get for Anton Khudobin. I know they spoke to at least one team last week and that was the Buffalo Sabres," Marek said during the 32 Thoughts segment on Hockey Night in Canada.

Khudobin, 35, signed with the Dallas Stars back in 2018 as a free agent. He's currently in the second year of a three-year contract and is earning $3.33 million per season. This season is also the final year for Khudobin's modified no-trade clause which includes a list of four teams he doesn't want to be dealt to.

In seven games this season, the Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan native has a record of 3-3-1 with a 3.73 G.A.A., and an .873 save percentage.
